I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were very good-clean and quiet, perfect for studying. Although slightly smaller than expected, my room on the 5th floor was beautifully appointed and comfortably sized. The service was exceptional, especially shout out to Melody who sent us champagne and upgraded our room. The location was incredible, offering easy access to various attractions like the 'Butterfly Store' and great local restaurants. The dining experience was great, with filling and delicious options available.

Staying at El Convento was a delightful experience overall. The rooms were spacious and clean, reminiscent of The Santa Clara in Cartagena St Theresa in Rio, offering a partial view. The service was excellent, with helpful staff and amenities like a 24-hour hot tub. The location couldn't have been better for exploring Old San Juan, though some upgrades are needed. The dining options were modest, and it would be great to see more traditional Puerto Rican choices. The facilities were well-kept, adding to the overall comfort of the stay.

The hotel is located in the heart of Old San Juan, offering a fantastic setting for exploring the city. The rooms, although lacking a tub, were quiet and beautifully modern with a private patio. The service was top-notch, with exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel's dining options were modest but delightful in their courtyard setting. A great place for enjoying San Juan's sunsets and being close to all the main attractions.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, especially enjoying the friendly service and prime location in the heart of old San Juan. The room was nice, though not top-tier quality, and the homemade food in the courtyard added a cozy touch. However, some issues with the bill were a drawback during my visit.

Rooms

My room on the ground floor was nice, but it didn't have the luxurious feel of a five-star accommodation. Still, it was comfortable and suited my needs perfectly.
Service

The location is hard to beat, right in the middle of old San Juan with shops, restaurants, and historical sites at every corner. It was a great hub for exploring the area on foot.
Dining

Dining in the mostly quiet courtyard was a lovely experience with homemade food and coffee. However, the overall quality of the food left much to be desired.
Facilities

The hotel facilities were adequate for my needs, but nothing stood out as exceptional. Perhaps a bit more attention to detail could elevate the experience.

I couldn't contain my excitement after arriving at the hotel! The room was so cozy and quiet with a hidden terrace that was perfect for my morning coffee or a chill glass of wine in the afternoon before heading out to explore the city at night. Being just across from a couple of lively bars added that extra touch of fun to my stay. Although, I did wish the room was a bit more soundproof for complete relaxation.

The hotel's location within Old San Juan is just perfect – within walking distance to everything you might need. It's situated right next to bars and restaurants, making it a hub of activity. However, parking options are limited, which is a bit of a hassle.
Dining

While the buffet had a good selection, I would have loved to see more traditional Puerto Rican options available. Unfortunately, there weren't many choices for vegans/vegetarians, creating a bit of a limitation.
